Blog 14: Independent Component 1
Blog 13: Lesson 2 Reflection
1. I am most proud of the fact that my presentation went smoothly and I wasn't nervous at all.
2. (a & b) I personally would give myself a P+ because I met all requirements and surpassed the 10 minute time requirement.
3. What worked for me in Lesson 2 was my love for the topic and my extensive research, I had a lot to talk about.
4. If I could change anything about Lesson 2, I would just explain my resources more in depth.
5. As of right now, the only thing I could think of for answer 2 is for coaches to expose their players to opportunities to advance in the sport. (getting scouted etc.)

Extra January Post
I sprained my ankle this month and as a result I had to be on crutches and also had to miss two games. I'm not fully recovered but there is only a few games of the season left and this is my last year playing so I want to play as much as possible. I've been icing my ankle everyday so hopefully the bruising disappears soon.

1. I am doing my mentorship at Baldwin Park High School.
2. My contact is Raquel Viramontes.
3. So far I have completed 20 mentorship hours.
4. The 10 hours I most recently completed were very similar to the first 10 hours I completed. They involved simply assisting the coach during their practices.
5. I emailed Piggot my contact's name and number.

Blog 10: Senior Project, The Holiday
1. Over the break, what I did to work on my senior project was continue to help the JV coach run practices, as well as play on my Varsity team.
2. The most important thing I learned was probably how to align my feet (square up) to the basketball in the best manner to increase my shooting percentage. I also learned the more you ask of 15 year old JV girls the less they try.
3. I would interview my first ever basketball coach Anthony, he was an extremely great coach and basically taught me how to play basketball. His words still have an impact on me to this day.

Back At It!
December was a great month basketball wise, I was more available to attend practice as well as games. As a result of that, my conditioning improved tremendously. We were in the Azusa High School Tournament and I was voted MVP of the tournament, so I'm glad my hard work payed off.
